As a professional artist, I can tell you that I struggled to learn how to create art that felt authentic to ME.
I almost gave up as I didn’t feel confident enough to create a painting of my own.
It did not come easy to me until I met the right teacher and had someone guiding me through the steps.
I promise anyone can learn to paint well!
I want to provide students with the support they need to unleash their creative potential in a safe, non-judgmental environment with inspiring lessons that allow you to choose the level of challenge you want.
A Painting Experience
These painting classes are great for beginners, hobbyists, artists and people just wanting to dabble in a new field. Set at your own pace, each class lets you explore your creative side while learning new techniques and ideas.
Set in a laid back, supportive environment, these classes will walk you through the basics of painting (color mixing, paint application, value, form, composition, drawing, etc) at an easy going pace..
These classes are perfect for:

My goal for these classes is to give you the confidence, knowledge, techniques, and skills you need to enjoy painting on your own.

You’re called to paint your magnificent masterpieces, but you get stuck in the middle, (or you don’t even get started!) …you’ve come to the right place. Enjoy the benefits of having a fun creative outlet and built-in me-time every week! I want to provide students with the support they need to unleash their creative potential in a safe, non-judgmental environment with inspiring lessons that allow you to choose the level of challenge you want. WHAT TO EXPECT
- Small classes with 8 seats available per slot
- Personalized, expert guidance to support your learning journey so you don’t get stuck in the middle of a painting
- Safe, supportive group of adults who also want to learn to paint so you have company and can feel inspired by watching everyone develop their skills
- Inspiring lessons with easy, medium, and challenging references so you can choose the right assignment for you
- Fundamental painting techniques and mixing skills broken down for you step by step, so you understand HOW to make it look the way you want
- Consistent time to make art built right into your schedule so you don’t think you’re going to do it but never get around to it.
- A proven process that we guarantee will have you creating art you love within a few weeks
WHAT MEDIUM WE USE
- We only use acrylic paint.
- It’s versatile.
- It dries quickly. This allows you to finish your project faster.
- It’s water-soluble. You can wash it off your hands and brushes (while they’re still wet) with soap and water
- It’s less toxic
- It’s flexible.
You can mix acrylics with lots of different mediums to get different textures, and adhering features, or to change the drying time. With acrylics, you can start one way and change directions halfway through. Acrylics are great to learn with and provide so much variety with textures, layering, and building up those bold, bright colours!

- Your own artist station
- Coffee, Tea or Juice
- Glasses and ice for your bubbly (you are welcome to bring your own alcoholic or non-alcoholic bubbly)
HOW MUCH
- Monthly – R1500.00
- 4 Painting Sessions per month (Choose your preferred timeslot)
- Bring your own paint, brushes, and canvas
- You are welcome to purchase a paint and brush starter pack and canvas from our Shop.
